Hello, I'm Baldur Logi - a DevOps specialist and Freelance Web Developer with B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering Management. I am currently offering web development service for small businesses & personal portfolios.
About me
After completing dual B.Sc. degrees in Engineering management and Computer Science, I embarked on a journey to Copenhagen to expand my horizons. I began my journey with a coding bootcamp at Codecademy, where I delved into full-stack web development and iOS development with Swift. Since then, I've evolved into a DevOps Developer at Forsia Forsikring, where I lead initiatives in deployment optimization, infrastructure automation, and cloud migration, all while strengthening my skills in digital project management.
What excites me most about tech is the thrill of problem-solving and potential to create impactful solutions. My technical expertise now spans DevOps practises as well as front-end tools like React, TypeScript, JavaScript and Vite. I'm currently open to freelancing opportunities to bring my diverse skill set to exciting, impactful projects.
Outside of work, I enjoy in CrossFit training, exploring fashion, cooking and baking, discovering music, and spending quality time with friends.

I joined Forsia Forsikring with minimal DevOps experience and am now the lead DevOps Developer. My role focuses on optimizing deployment across environments using GitHub Actions, achieving a 95% reduction in package size and a 75% decrease in deployment time. I implemented a trunk-based development model and leveraged Kubernetes and ArgoCD for automation, enhancing scalability and reliability. As the primary contact for cloud partners and digital vendors, I strengthen cross-functional communication and support our shift to a cloud-based platform.
